AWS Cloud & DevOps SRE Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Operate and optimize container orchestration platforms including Amazon EKS and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Podman.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI/CD and other DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery and infrastructure scalability.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and container environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure system uptime and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps/SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and OpenShift for container orchestration.
• Solid experience with Docker and Podman for containerization.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with GitLab pipelines, Security, Deployments, etc.
