.NET Backend Software Engineer role at J&M Group.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain .NET backend applications and APIs using C#; design and implement web services; deploy on IIS.
• Implement and optimize SQL-based database queries and data manipulation.
• Architect and implement microservices to build scalable and maintainable backend systems.
• Work with cloud platforms to deploy and manage applications; support event-driven architectures.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for automated builds and deployments.
• Collaborate in Agile software development environments; analyze and improve backend processes; troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in the .NET framework and C# for API development and web services; experience with IIS.
• Strong SQL skills for database management and data manipulation.
• Experience with cloud platforms and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of microservices architecture; experience with CI/CD using Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
Desirable Skills
• Microsoft SQL, Azure SQL; Azure Cloud (AKS, Service Bus, Redis, ADX).
• Observability tools such as New Relic.
• Knowledge of the Insurance domain is a plus.
