Your impact We are seeking an experienced Associate Project Engineer to join our Water team in Canada. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise in civil engineering design and project delivery, combined with a collaborative approach to client engagement and business development. This role is ideal for a professional with approximately 10 years of experience and a proven track record in infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities • Design & Technical Delivery • Prepare and review civil engineering designs for water resources, conveyance, pipelines, and related infrastructure. • Develop drawings, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with Canadian codes and standards. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery. • Project Support • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. • Provide technical input during tendering and construction phases. • Business Development • Support proposal preparation and client presentations. • Identify opportunities for expanding Jacobs’ services within the Canadian water market. • Quality & Compliance • Ensure adherence to Jacobs’ quality assurance processes and safety standards. • Maintain accurate documentation and project records. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project delivery. • Strong knowledge of water conveyance systems and Canadian design standards. • Proficiency in CADD and related design software. • Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Licensing Requirement • Must apply for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensure in British Columbia within the first 6 months of employment. Posted Salary Range Minimum 86,900.00 Posted Salary Range Upper 115,000.00 The base salary range for this position is $86,900.00 to $115,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
