Job Summary:
Serve as a Network Security Consultant supporting a large-scale AWS cloud migration for enterprise applications. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to implement secure and compliant cloud solutions. Gather, analyze, and translate application connectivity, port, protocol, and data flow requirements into AWS network security policies. Design and validate AWS network security architecture using Security Groups, Network ACLs, and Palo Alto firewall integrations. Streamline firewall rule discovery, approval, and deployment by partnering with perimeter defense teams. Document best practices for AWS network security architecture and firewall use. Support migration discovery and planning by ensuring all network security dependencies are identified and addressed. Troubleshoot and optimize AWS network security configurations to ensure robust protection. Participate in Agile or DevSecOps teams to drive secure cloud migration initiatives.
