We are looking for a Network
Field Engineer "Saudi National" To be responsible for Laying of Optical Fiber
and Termination on the Patch Panels and/or Switches/Routers. Troubleshooting of Structured Cabling (Copper and/or Fiber)
in case of connectivity problems.
Responsibilities :
• Provides technical assistance to first and third tier support groups and
department end users.
• Helps to Analyze and resolves technical problems for established
networks.
• Provides assistance and handles technical network problems and
emergencies.
• Assists in identifying problems across multi-platform distributed
network environment.
• Installs, configures and maintains network components as directed by
team lead.
• Establishes user profiles, user environments, directories, and security
for networks.
• Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Assists in the running of email, anti-spam and virus protection.
• Assists in the Analysis and resolution of wide rage Network faults.
• Reports network operational status by gathering information as directed.
• Maintains records including problem documentation and actions taken.
• Escalates any risks and issues to the Network Team Lead.
• Interacts with and influences department/project team members.
• Determines when issues should be escalated to a higher level.
• Performs a broad range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a
variety of environments
Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Communication
Engineering.
• Saudi nationality
• Out of
work for more than 3 months.
• Based in Jeddah or ready to Relocate to.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking & telephony, Audio/Visual &
Video conferencing systems.
• Must have technical knowledge with the following technologies and
protocols: VLAN, VTP, Spanning Tree
• One of the following certifications are preferred: CCNA, CCNP, ITIL
