vServices Ltd is seeking a Network Engineer with abilities of designing and delivering simple, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate understands the current landscape of cloud computing environments and has worked on distributed, large-scale, and fault-tolerant systems. You will be responsible for all aspects of our cloud/backend infrastructure (storage, networking and compute) running in our network. Since you will work closely with our software development team, experience in programming is ideal but this is primarily a networking/Linux administration role. Network Engineer with strong Cisco / VMWare / PowerShell / SolarWinds / SQL / Cisco / VMWare / LAN / WAN / VPM / SQL / Meraki / Firewall / PowerShell / SolarWinds / Azure / AWS / Google / VoIP / Active Directory / Hyper-V / Cloud / NetApp / SAN / NAS / DAS / Windows / Microsoft / Windows Server experience will assist in the delivery of the solutions and provide seamless technology service.
Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desired and Current Cisco CCNP qualification.
Experience – Candidates should have a minimum experience of 4 + years
Key Responsibilities
Investigating, analysing and resolving network incidents and problems.
Monitoring and management of network performance.
Configure VPS, Cloud, Dedicated Servers and Managed Service for Clients
Coordinate, Configure and Negotiate with Service Providers
Engaging in projects to provide network related input.
Participate in out-of-hours rota.
