Responsibilities
Network and Firewall Support:
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network and firewall hardware and software.
• Monitor network and firewall performance, troubleshoot issues, and support resolution of outages.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching on network infrastructure.
• Support LAN/WAN operations and ensure consistent connectivity across sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and standard procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors or stakeholders.
• Track and maintain inventory of network and firewall-related assets under the Network Team.
Requirements
• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience or internship in network engineering or IT support preferred.
• CCNA certification preferred
• Strong understanding of WAN, LAN, and network security
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies and/or Fortinet firewalls is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and tools.
• Familiarity with firewall technologies and basic network troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
