Job Overview
We are seeking a NetSuite Functional Support and Master Data Engineer to support, maintain, and improve Oracle NetSuite ERP across the organization. The role is responsible for day-to-day system support, master data accuracy, functional configuration, and close coordination with business teams to ensure NetSuite supports operational and financial processes effectively.
This is a hands-on functional role focused on system stability, data quality, and user enablement.
Key Responsibilities
NetSuite Functional Support
• Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle NetSuite users across Finance, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and Operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transactions, roles, permissions, workflows, and system behavior
• Act as the primary support contact for NetSuite-related operational issues
Master Data Management
• Create, maintain, and govern master data within NetSuite
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of items, parts, vehicles, BOMs, suppliers, customers, and financial master data
• Manage automotive-specific data including part numbers, vehicle models, and supplier records
• Implement data standards to prevent duplication and data quality issues
System Configuration and Improvements
• Configure NetSuite forms, fields, workflows, saved searches, and reports based on approved business requirements
• Support continuous improvement of NetSuite usage without unnecessary customization
• Coordinate with internal teams or vendors for approved enhancements
Reporting and Documentation
• Develop and maintain operational and management reports
• Prepare and maintain system documentation and user guides
• Support end-user training and adoption of NetSuite best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and Operations teams
• Ensure NetSuite processes align with business requirements and operational workflows
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle NetSuite ERP
• Experience with master data management in ERP systems
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, trading, or distribution environments is preferred
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle NetSuite
• Experience with workflows, saved searches, reports, forms, roles, and permissions
• Basic understanding of SuiteScript and integrations is an advantage but not mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical users
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Certifications
• Oracle NetSuite certification is preferred but not mandatory.
