Who we are looking for
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• A robust background in Android internals, AOSP, frameworks, or OS-level development
• Expertise in C++ and Java (familiarity with Kotlin is a plus)
• Experience in building or maintaining system components, as opposed to app development
• Exposure to embedded, device-level, or resource-constrained environments is advantageous
Your responsibilities
• Integrate new Android/AOSP releases into customized AR/VR system frameworks
• Build, debug, and optimize OS-level services, APIs, and internal infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the UK and Europe for system design and stability
• Contribute to performance profiling, low-level debugging, and system tooling
• Support the growth of a complex, large-scale Android-based platform
