Title: : Senior C/C++ Developer with Python & Perl scripting
Work Location: NYC, NY
The client is looking for experienced consultants who can handle a variety of tasks related to software migration, debugging, enhancement, and development. The project involves migrating applications from C/C++ and Perl to Python, debugging and enhancing existing C/C++, Perl, and Python apps, porting script-based debug to a next-generation simulation and emulation validation model, and updating interface and control libraries to support a new architecture.
The ideal candidates should have:
• 10+ years of experience developing applications utilizing C
• 8+ years of experience developing/modifying C/C++ software
• 8+ years of experience developing drivers or firmware
• 8+ years of extensive recent experience (within the last 2 years) with Perl v 5.2 - 5.38 and Python v 3.6-3.12
• Recent experience supporting an architectural migration of software containers with an orchestration engine such as Kubernetes
• Recent experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing software scripts
• Recent experience developing and debugging software interfaces and related functionality with external systems
