Because it’s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people’s lives. • *YOUR FUTURE ROLE** The SAP Government Security unit is looking for a National Security Expert who will manage security projects and contribute to the expansion of capabilities that address the unique requirements of security sensitive organizations across public sector and regulated industry in the Americas. You will build strong relationships with government authorities and collaborate with customer security teams, internal employees and partners to establish a shared understanding of requirements, support customer engagements and deliver projects. You will be accountable for ensuring strict compliance with applicable government regulations and unique customer security requirements and will implement security projects either as a project lead or as an individual contributor on a matrixed delivery team. Core responsibilities include: E - xpand SAP Canada’s capabilities for handling Protected and Classified information.P - rovide expert knowledge, advice, and guidance with respect to Canadian IT Security Guideline 33 (ITSG-33) controls and control frameworks commonly used in North AmericaP - roduce and maintain high quality documentation critical to maintain government certificationL - ead international information exchanges to share leading practices and manage riskA - nalyze emerging regulatory requirements, write reports, and communicate recommendations to mitigate riskD - esign and maintain technology solutions that support project delivery and unique security requirements of customersB - e a member of SAP Canada’s Government Security team and serve as an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO)M - aximize your potential, grow your professional network, continuously learn, and build a unique understanding of software delivery models in government and regulated industry • *YOUR PROFILE** You are a self-starting, resilient, goal-oriented individual eager to learn and contribute on a broader team. O - **utstanding interpersonal skills and a high degree of personal initiative**S - ignificant experience delivering technology projects and programsE - xperience working with classified systems in the past ten yearsS - ignificant experience implementing and/or managing security controlsK - nowledge of RCMP physical security standardsO - utstanding organizational skills and attention to detailA - propensity to collaborate and work on a teamE - xceptional written and verbal communication skills W - orking knowledge of government security regulationsK - nowledge of the Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CP-CSC) or the US Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is an asset K - nowledge of government security regulations outside Canada is an assetT Language - luent in English and French (verbal and written) - ther languages considered an asset • *ABOUT THE TEAM** The SAP Government Security unit is part of the SAP Customer Services & Delivery Board Area and has a mandate to ensure strict fulfillment of regulatory obligations in the context of various contract security programs world-wide.
