About the Role
We're seeking a Senior .NET API Engineer to join our API Platform Engineering Team. This is a hands-on development role focused on building and enhancing core APIs in a modern, cloud-native environment using .NET 8 Minimal APIs. You'll work within a domain-driven design framework, emphasizing integration, automation, and a design-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs using C# and .NET Core
Implement robust unit and integration tests for all endpoints and key flows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Lead projects and take ownership of deliverables
Work within a Kubernetes and Docker-based microservices architecture
Apply JWT/OAuth2 authentication standards
Utilize API gateway tools (e.g., Kong, Apigee)
Contribute to cloud-native development initiatives
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
Expertise in API development and microservices architecture
Familiarity with API gateway technologies
Proficiency in JWT/OAuth2 authentication
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of cloud development practices
