Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Offer expert consultative services in OB/GYN cases as requested by other departments.
• Supervise and mentor fellows, assistant physicians, and residents in OB/GYN.
• Actively participate in the training and education of residents and fellows within the specialty.
• Engage in research activities related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Serve on hospital committees and contribute to administrative functions as required.
• Perform specialized OB/GYN procedures within scope of privileges.
• Comply fully with all hospital and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education and Certification:
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Saudi Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
• Membership or Fellowship in recognized bodies (e.g., American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, or equivalent).
• Certification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is mandatory.
• DataFlow verification completion is required.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3-4 years post-board/fellowship experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language Skills:
• Proficiency in English.
• Arabic language skills are beneficial.
