We’re looking for a permanent MySQL Developer to join our team in Dubai. The role is a unique opportunity to join one of the world’s leading online financial trading companies and help take ICM Capital to the next level.
Our customers find using ICM’s platform and websites easy to use. Yet behind this is a complex engine that’s being designed, built and powered by our talented teams around the world. With new functionality being built every day, there’s a lot to figure out, and we can’t do it alone.
The Role
· You will work within our Development team to improve our products both, for our customers through new features and capabilities that will be used globally, as well as for our internal teams to improve efficiency.
· You will help to extract and analyse data from our systems.
· Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
· Provide data management support for our users/clients.
· Support the Development and Quality Assurance teams with their needs for database development and access.
Essential skills
· You have excellent MySQL knowledge and are comfortable writing queries against MySQL databases.
· Design stable, reliable and effective databases. Create, optimize and maintain queries and DB procedures, used in our software applications, as well as data extracts .
· You have a good knowledge of MetaQuotes trading platform (MT4/MT5).
· You have a good understanding of Banking/Finance domain.
· You have been working as a developer for the last 5 years, at the very least.
Some Extra Skills That Would Be Awesome
· Basic Linux system administration and scripting experience
· You have experience working with cTrader or a similar Trading platform
· Experience on other database technologies like MSSql , PostgreSQL
