Role Summary/Purpose:
Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Test Automation Specialist, where you'll take charge of the automation strategy, design, and execution for complex, high-performance applications in the Financial and Banking domain. We seek individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality. Your expertise in Appium, XCUITest, and Java will be key in building scalable automation frameworks and executing robust test suites on real devices.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Design and develop end-to-end mobile test automation frameworks using Appium with Java for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Build and maintain test scripts, test data, and reusable components to ensure our automation efforts are scalable and maintainable.
• Execute and troubleshoot automated test scripts on physical mobile devices, ensuring accuracy and performance under real-world conditions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to identify high-risk areas and prioritize testing efforts effectively.
• Keep documentation up-to-date for framework architecture, test cases, and automation coverage.
• Contribute to continuous integration by integrating automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay informed on emerging tools, trends, and practices in mobile automation and medical compliance.
• Participate in special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years focused on mobile test automation.
• Proficiency in Appium and Cucumber, with hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience with the ALM Octane framework.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mobile device architecture and hands-on experience with physical device testing.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of debugging and root cause analysis in mobile test environments.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for business as needed.
Desired Characteristics:
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems like Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Previous experience in the Financial or Banking domain is a plus.
Grade/Level: 09
The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD annually and includes eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will consider work experience and skill level.
Eligibility Requirements:
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• You must be willing to undergo a drug test, background investigation, and fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
• You must be able to fulfill the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
• New hires in levels 4-7 must complete 9 months of continuous service before being eligible to apply for other roles. Level 8 or greater must have 18 months in the position to post. All internal applicants must meet performance expectations and have managerial approval to post.
