KKBL Security is looking for mobile security install technician(s) in the Greater Houston area. Responsible for transportation, placement, installation of mobile security unit(s,) diagnosing and servicing unit(s,) maintenance of unit(s,) and relocating unit(s). Daily schedule is flexible, Monday through Friday, unless candidate wants to work Saturday.
Essential Job Functions
• Assist with performing a variety of tests to determine whether unit(s) functions as specified: determine cause of product failure; analyze test results.
• Responsible for effecting smooth communications and rapport between the customer, other personnel on-site, and company personnel.
• Responsible for keeping the Project Manager aware of the status of the job’s performance needs on a daily basis and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for completing all assigned tasks within the specified cost budget and schedule, personally responsible for the quality of work performed.
• Assist with the completion of all in-house assembly/test/checkout tasks, as required.
• Assist with solving technical challenges as they arise. Help to resolve potential problems before they can have a negative impact on the customer and the company.
• Assist with mentoring other entry level Security Technicians on tools and technology. Serve as a Security Team technical resource.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Candidate Requirements
· Security Certification (preferred.) If not, ability to pass background check and get certification from TX State.
· Prior experience in security installation is preferred.
· Ability to use power tools (required.)
· Ability to tow up to 4000 lbs with a pick up truck(required.)
· Must have a driver's license and good driving record.
· Ability to travel as required within Greater Houston (territory will be assigned based on your residence.)
· Ability to work outdoors in heat and cold (most visits are not long/extended)
· Training will be provided.
