We’re looking for a Mid-Level Python Developer to collaborate with actuaries, analysts, and data scientists to craft, build, and optimize high-performance analytics and data workflows. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, production-ready solutions in a dynamic, domain-rich environment.
As part of a greenfield SaaS platform, utilized by major organizations in Financial Services, Insurance, and ReInsurance, you will work within a team that prioritizes best practices and high code quality, allowing you the time to execute these principles effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance Python-based analytics features focusing on performance and scalability.
• Streamline integrations between Python and C# systems while refactoring code as necessary.
• Optimize complex data workflows and manage large-scale calculations efficiently.
• Review code, share best practices, and support the development of your team members.
• Advocate for strong engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, and clean design.
• Explore new technologies and actively contribute to ongoing improvements.
Technical Overview:
• Proven experience in writing production-quality Python code.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets and performance-sensitive tasks.
• Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Functions, Batch, Storage, Cosmos DB).
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices.
