The Opportunity Joining the People Tech & AI team, you will lead the design, construction, and operation of scalable, secure, and intelligent platforms that empower AI-driven employee and client experiences across our Firm. This managerial role blends engineering expertise with people leadership, allowing you to deliver resilient platforms integrating cloud infrastructure, conversational AI, data, and enterprise systems. You will be at the forefront of technological advancements, mentoring the engineers of tomorrow and shaping the future of AI solutions. Your Responsibilities: • Mentor junior engineers and promote their professional growth. • Ensure the security and scalability of AI-driven solutions. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. • Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in AI. Essential Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering, including experience in leadership roles. • If not possessing a Bachelor's Degree, a combination of relevant work experience and specialized training that equates to three years of college education for each missing year will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree is a plus. • Proven experience in leading cloud and platform engineering teams. • Hands-on experience with Azure, DevOps, and enterprise integration patterns. • Ability to apply systems thinking in designing comprehensive platforms. • Experience in coaching and mentoring engineers to uphold a culture of excellence. • Effective management of delivery plans, dependencies, and risks. • Experience operating production platforms with a focus on reliability and security. • Collaboration with product owners, UX, data science, and security teams to transform People Tech & AI use cases into scalable platform capabilities. • Defining and implementing automated testing strategies. • Architecting, building, and deploying conversational bots using the Azure Bot Framework SDK and Composer, and integrating with Azure Cognitive Services (LUIS/Orchestrator) and various enterprise channels. • Leading platform engineering teams in delivering cloud-native services and AI-powered platforms in alignment with PwC People Tech & AI strategy. Actual compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Hired individuals will also be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and more. #LI-Remote
