You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, platform integrity, and trust & safety, helping the world’s leading technology companies navigate some of their most pressing challenges. In this role, you will manage and scale engagements with Big Tech companies, AI labs, social media platforms, fintech organizations, and similar clients. You will be responsible for delivering complex, multi-workstream projects across a variety of deliverable types—from AI data labeling and evaluation to policy development and platform integrity assessments. You will work alongside world-class experts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design strategies, solve problems, and drive meaningful outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate brings a working knowledge of current AI trends and challenges—including areas such as data labeling, model evaluation, testing, red teaming, and golden data set creation—as well as familiarity with platform integrity issues like external threats, content moderation, and global regulatory requirements. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership, and operating both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will report directly to the COO and have the opportunity to shape the future of our Client Success function. While this role does not have immediate people management responsibilities, there is potential for team leadership as Duco continues to grow. Areas of Responsibility Your primary objective will be to successfully manage and deliver high-quality projects for our clients while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand our footprint. You will work across a variety of sectors and organizations to help form, refine, and mature client thinking and approaches by crafting and delivering high-value projects and programs. Your areas of responsibility will include: Client Management, Retention & Program Design • Own Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and ensuring client satisfaction across all engagements. • Deliver Complex Projects: Lead and manage multi-workstream projects from scoping through delivery, coordinating with internal teams and external experts to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations. • Drive Operational Excellence: Develop mechanisms to track client satisfaction, project performance, and expert quality; constantly improve processes and best practices to enhance our client support. Portfolio & Growth • Identify New Opportunities: Generate and act on leads to expand scope within existing accounts and identify potential new clients; contribute to business development efforts and revenue growth. • Design Tailored Solutions: Develop and propose new products and services to address evolving client needs; work with colleagues and experts to architect customized solutions across AI, Trust & Safety, and platform integrity domains. Strategy, Operations & Management • Help Guide Growth & the Business: As your accounts grow, increasingly manage more projects, experts, and budgets; contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements. • Improve Our Technology: Provide strategic input on Duco’s proprietary online platform product; pass meaningful feedback to the engineering and product team. Key Qualifications A great candidate for this position should have 4-7 years of professional experience and care deeply about the technology space. You should have an interest in and awareness of key topics, including artificial intelligence, trust & safety, platform integrity, and global regulatory issues. The individual should be experienced in managing projects, delivering customized solutions, and working with various stakeholders to identify root causes and proposed solutions. The ideal candidate loves to meet new people and build relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has high attention to detail, and delivers products of excellent quality. Most importantly, the best candidate excels in a startup environment, has grit and an exceptional work ethic, and is excited to help build something extraordinary. Leading candidates will have: • 4-7 years of experience in client service, consulting, or a related field; experience in the technology or AI sector strongly preferred. • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence trends and challenges—including data labeling, evaluation, testing, red teaming, and golden data set creation—or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and speak credibly on these topics. • Familiarity with platform integrity issues, including threats to platforms from external actors, content moderation, and the global compliance and regulatory landscape (legal/compliance background not required). • Experience delivering complex, multi-deliverable projects across multiple workstreams with strong attention to quality and deadlines. • Interest in or experience with business development, account expansion, and revenue growth. • A self-starter mentality: proactive, accountable, intellectually curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. • Ability to speak credibly across elements of a Trust & Safety portfolio and engage with senior client stakeholders. • A focus on mission, team, and company; ability to serve as a leader, cultivate a strong work ethic, and continue building an inclusive company culture we are all proud of. • Recognition that this is a startup: no job is too big or too small. Location Duco’s headquarters is in the Financial District in San Francisco, CA. We operate on a hybrid work model: all employees are required to work from the office two designated days per week and may work remotely on non-office days. Compensation & Benefits You will receive a combination of salary, bonus, stock options, and access to a 401k and FSA plan. Additionally, Duco offers to pay 100% of employees’ healthcare plan premiums, which include medical and dental, and $1,000 per year towards professional development opportunities of your choice. Approved vacation is unlimited. Duco is closed at least 15 days per year, including the day after Thanksgiving and the full week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $115,000, and the employee will receive a bonus based on individual and company performance. Our salary ranges are determined by a variety of factors, including the functions of the role, experience, and geographic location.
