Technology - Data and Decision Science - AI Native Engineering
The opportunity
Our Artificial Intelligence and Data team seeks to leverage cutting-edge technology to provide innovative solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients and diverse EY teams, creating a holistic approach to solving complex challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, building, and implementing scalable AI systems that generate insights tailored to specific business needs, adapting across both cloud and on-premises environments. You will improve data pipelines and storage solutions to ensure data integrity and optimization for XOps processes. Additionally, you will monitor and assess learning processes to consistently refine high-performance models, collaborating with fellow data and analytics professionals to industrialize and deliver effective analytics solutions.
Your key responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of workstreams while effectively managing processes and projects.
• Drive continuous improvement by discovering innovative solutions through diligent research and analysis.
• Oversee professional teams and supervise the execution of complex technical initiatives, ensuring accountability for performance outcomes.
• Engage actively with clients by participating in daily sessions and leading workstreams through every phase, from planning to execution.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics efficiently.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
• A Bachelor’s degree.
• 6-10 years of relevant full-time work experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
• 2-4 years directly managing technical teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• A capability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse and global teams.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining impactful production AI/ML solutions on leading cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Generative AI models and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Dall-e, Langchain), as well as ML packages such as scikit-learn and PyTorch.
• Knowledge of natural language processing and deep learning methodologies.
• Extensive experience with DevOps tools (GIT, Azure DevOps), Agile methods (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines for the development and deployment of analytical solutions.
• Experience with MLOps and ML workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and evaluation processes.
• Understanding of model retraining methodologies and feedback loop applications.
• Experience in monitoring and reporting for models and solutions.
• Proficiency in data structures, data modeling, and software engineering best practices.
• A strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and operations research, with expertise in data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas, Spark) and deep learning techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations, with readiness to travel for client engagements.
• Team leadership and change management abilities.
Ideally, you will also have:
• A deep understanding of various programming languages and the ability to teach their applications.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in managing complex projects with numerous stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Skills in data visualization and effective storytelling with data.
• Experience in image processing or speech and audio processing techniques.
