**Managed Services Technical Team Lead** IT Blueprint Solutions is a fast-growing Vancouver-based company that provides expertise in IT solutions comprised of cloud services, best-in-class hardware, software, security, and data protection. We are currently looking for a full-time Managed Services Technical Team Lead to join our team. • *Responsibilities**: - Project Management - Ensuring optimal service delivery and client satisfaction - Supervising junior engineers - Microsoft 365 administration & migration support - Azure infrastructure (design, implementation, management) - System Administration (Windows Servers) - Security & compliance to safeguard infrastructure - Backup & disaster recovery - Network Infrastructure management (configure firewalls, provide support) • *Position Requirements**: - 5+ years of Microsoft cloud administration - 5+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider REQUIRED* - In-depth knowledge of Networking, Azure Active Directory, Storage, Virtual Machines - Experience with backup & disaster recovery. - Experience migrating clients over to the cloud. - Experience working on VMware (Vcenter, ESXI) - Experience with Autotask - MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, AZ-400 a major plus - Experience Managing Projects start to finish. • *Preferred Knowledge and Additional Responsibilities**: - Monitoring and maintaining systems and networks. - Installation and configuration of systems - Diagnosing faults on both hardware and software - Walking clients through troubleshooting steps - Re-fitting and/or replacing of client hardware. - Working to SLA’s - Prioritizing and managing multiple open tickets. - Establishing good working relationships with clients - Vacation relief onsite working with clients. - Being an escalation point for your colleagues. - Problem ticket management and conducting root cause analysis. - Project Work - Maintenance of technical documentation - Keeping yourself informed of and working to resolve all multiuser impacting issues. • *Experience**: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients (up to senior management levels, using appropriate and professional language) - Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service - Ability to work independently and to carry out tasks to completion within parameters and instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. - Proven experience in an IT Support Role and Team - VMware Certification - NetApp, Isilon, Nutanix, Veaam Certification - Advanced knowledge of Firewalls, LAN switching, Routing, and Wireless technologies from multiple vendors. - Vendor knowledge and certification including Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, HPE, Dell, Ruckus security, and network products is highly desirable. - Working knowledge of Security technologies including but not limited to End-point protection, AV, Sandboxing, and Mail security solutions. - Working knowledge of virtualization solutions including VMware Distributed Switching and NSX as well as Microsoft hypervisors and Microsoft Azure stacks. - Understanding of all facets of enterprise network and security systems, Network assessments, installation, and documentation expertise. - Comfortable determining root cause analysis, scripting, and running hardware upgrades. - Fluency in middleware, firmware, and mainframes.
