Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of data science tools and methodologies. The successful candidate will drive insights that inform strategic decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and fuel growth across key business functions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights. Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data-driven strategies tailored to the FMCG environment. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales to translate business challenges into data solutions. Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Spark, TensorFlow, etc.) to manipulate data and perform advanced analytics. Create dashboards and data visualizations to present insights to stakeholders. Leverage experience with Data Centers and big data infrastructure to ensure scalable and secure data operations. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, preferably within the FMCG industry. Proven UAE work experience is mandatory. Proficient in data science tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data modeling. Experience working in or with Data Centers and large-scale data environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: Prior experience in demand forecasting, customer segmentation, or supply chain analytics within FMCG. Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
