Principal Experience Designer – Customer Experience (CX) - (W2 only role)
We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Principal Experience Designer to lead UX/UI and CX strategy across our Customer Experience Suite. This role drives design standards, innovation, and product excellence while partnering with senior leaders and mentoring junior designers. You will shape the experience vision, influence product roadmaps, and ensure our digital products deliver meaningful customer and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the digital experience design vision, standards, and strategy across CX products.
• Partner with senior leaders to align design direction with business goals, technology capabilities, and enterprise priorities.
• Drive innovation workstreams, experimentation, and new feature development.
• Define target users, translate insights into prioritized features, and balance business needs with exceptional UX.
• Own major design initiatives, guiding planning, execution, and measurable outcomes.
• Evangelize the value of UX/UI and CX design to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Analytics, Informatics, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Global teams).
• Ensure products meet business objectives and performance standards.
• Support business cases, budgets, and requirements for product health and usage.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a high-performance, craft-driven culture.
Who You Are
• 12+ years experience, including 10+ in experience/UX/product design.
• Strong experience leading end-to-end product lifecycle, from vision to execution to measurement.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Experience mentoring designers and influencing decision-making across teams.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working in agile environments, and driving innovation.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and user-centered design mindset.
• Experience working with Legal, Compliance, or Privacy in regulated environments is a plus.
• Advanced degree (MBA or related).
• Experience in healthcare, biotech, pharma, or other highly regulated industries.
• Success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of workflow tools, automation systems, and design systems.
