The MENADevs team combines experienced operators with over 150+ engineers, data experts, and AI specialists. Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and deliver production-grade AI systems for an onsite project in the UAE and KSA. The role focuses on applying AI and machine learning within scalable enterprise architectures. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, owning AI components end to end from design through deployment and optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and deploy production-grade applied AI systems end to end. • Translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures and APIs. • Integrate ML/LLM models into enterprise platforms and workflows. • Own delivery across development, deployment, and optimization. • Review code, set standards, and mentor engineers. • Troubleshoot and resolve production AI and system issues. Qualifications • 5–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong track record of shipping production systems. • Experience in applied AI/ML solutions in real-world environments. • Advanced proficiency in Python for building, deploying, and maintaining AI systems. • Strong experience with at least one backend framework or runtime such as Java (Spring Boot), .NET Core, or Node.js, supporting AI services in production. Relocation Requirements • Must be willing to relocate to the Gulf region for the full duration of the contract. • On-site presence is mandatory due to project requirements.
