About the Client
Our client is a world-class big tech company with a strong focus on AI. They are looking for a LLM Engineer to develop foundation models and data curation algorithms across multiple modalities, including Computer Vision, NLP, and Embodied AI.
It would be a 12-month extendable contract.
Key Responsibilities
Execute engineering tasks for the research team to build large-scale foundation models and high-quality data curation algorithms for perception.
Convert complex research ideas into functional implementations, developing new architectures and functionalities within the core research platforms.
Support senior researchers in implementing advanced AI systems and machine perception technologies on high-performance cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research units to define and execute system implementation roadmaps.
Participate in the team's publication efforts by turning engineering breakthroughs into documented research outcomes and broad scientific impact.
Develop efficient research tools to improve the modeling of spatial and temporal knowledge across various AI modalities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related technical field (Master's or PhD preferred).
2 - 4 years of experience in deep learning and foundation models, with the ability to conduct independent engineering and implementation work.
Significant hands-on experience in PyTorch and developing computer vision infrastructure or deep learning algorithms.
Practical exposure to one or more specialized areas: 3D reconstruction, depth sensing, image/video generation, or distributed systems.
