The Senior Vice President of Application Development will lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure data solutions to support Citi's strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and extensive experience with Big Data technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end architectural design for complex data initiatives, including data warehousing, data lakes, data integration, and analytical platforms.
• Big Data Expertise: Design and implement Big Data solutions leveraging technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Drive the development of advanced analytical dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and coding best practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and define technical strategies.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure all data solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal security standards.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and analytical solutions.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in a senior solution architecture role focused on data and analytics.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale, complex data solutions from concept to production.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and Oracle.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau for data visualization, dashboard design, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with relational databases and data modeling techniques.
