Responsibilities: Set and drive the team's goals and technical direction to improve organizational efficiency. Communicate complex features and systems effectively to all stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry and company trends to drive technology development. Collaborate with leadership to enhance team and organizational performance. Identify new opportunities and influence key stakeholders for effective resource allocation. Lead the technical vision and roadmap for significant cross-company initiatives. Gather and synthesize requirements to create an effective feature roadmap. Address performance and scalability challenges and reduce technical debt organization-wide. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 12+ years of programming experience in a relevant language or 8+ years with a PhD. Proven experience planning a multi-year roadmap that aligns short-term projects with long-term objectives. Demonstrated ability to drive large, cross-functional engineering initiatives. Skilled in using data-driven analysis to solve technical challenges and suggest improvements. Effective communicator, capable of collaborating across functions. Experience mentoring and influencing executive stakeholders across organizations. Preferred Qualifications: Masters or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Knowledge of NLP techniques, including text preprocessing and sentiment analysis. Understanding of information retrieval concepts like indexing and ranking. Proven experience with data structures and algorithms, particularly in graph theory and optimization methods.
