Lead QA Engineer Network

Position: Lead QA Engineer Network Location: San Ramon, CA Duration: 12+ Months Complete Description: Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) • A minimum of 8 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 3 years of experience. • Strong writing and communication skills to describe test cases and test results • 5+ years of experience in networking fundamentals (switch, sub-netting, routing, VLAN, IPSec (security), etc.) • Please make sure you look for someone with Networking experience. Someone with certification like CCNA or CCNP would be the best. • Hands-on experience configuring test environments with Linux servers • Years of experience debugging issues in Linux OS • Strong experience automating web applications (e.g. Selenium or Protractor) • Experience in JavaScript, Java, Python, Shell • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies Desired Characteristics: Technical Expertise: • Experienced with Selenium Web Driver/Protractor, Cucumber and TestNG • Experienced with AngularJS framework and have done extensive testing with Protractor or Selenium • Expert with running large scale tests in parallel against multiple browsers • Experienced with Jenkins to run all test cases end-to-end automatically • Ability to write scripts in Shell, python, or Perl. • Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software • Demonstrated skills in writing clear and reproducible problem reports and test results • Knowledge in general QA procedures and methodologies and software development fundamentals • Ability to understand machine language, operating systems, common APIs, libraries and runtime environments and how they interact with hardware, firmware, and binary code • Exposure to SCADA/DCS systems or industrial technologies Exposure to BDD (Behaviour Driven Development)About Net2Source, Inc.
