Responsibilities
• Lead the analysis and migration of existing MuleSoft integrations to AWS-based solutions.
• Design and implement scalable serverless APIs and microservices using Python (AWS Lambda).
• Build integration workflows leveraging API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, EventBridge, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with integration architects to define migration strategy and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for AWS applications (CodePipeline/CodeBuild/GitHub Actions) and manage deployments and monitoring.
• Optimize API performance, reliability, and security; create clear documentation and operational runbooks.
• Mentor engineers and enforce best practices for serverless, event-driven architectures and DevOps workflows.
Requirements
• Must be based in the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or other UAE city)
• Strong Python proficiency
• AWS Lambda experience
• API Gateway knowledge
• Serverless architecture expertise

• Experience with Step Functions
• Experience with SQS/SNS
• EventBridge exposure
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Git version control
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or integration platforms
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience migrating integrations from MuleSoft to AWS
• Hands-on with CodePipeline, CodeBuild or GitHub Actions
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning and security best-practice skills
• Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams
