Job Title: Lead Mobile QA Engineer (iOS & Android) – Manual & Automation Location: New Jersey, USA ( Client Round F2F Mandatory) Experience: 6–10 years ⚠️ Important Note: • This role is open only to candidates local to New Jersey. Face-to-face interview is mandatory. Key skills : Mobile (iOS and Android) Native application testing , Appium Java. Role Summary Looking for a Lead Mobile QA Engineer with strong experience in native iOS and Android application testing. This role focuses on delivering high-quality mobile and streaming experiences through a mix of manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on automation skills, strong Java expertise, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional Agile teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute test cases and test strategies for native mobile applications on iOS and Android • Test video streaming functionality across mobile platforms, including HLS and DASH protocols • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Selenium, and Java to improve test coverage and efficiency • Conduct performance and security testing to identify bottlenecks and vulnerabilities in mobile applications • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and enforce quality standards • Document test plans, test results, and defects, and track issues to closure using Jira • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives • Stay current with trends in mobile testing, automation tools, and video streaming technologies Required Skills • Strong experience in native mobile application testing (iOS and Android) • Hands-on automation testing experience using Appium • Strong Java programming experience • Solid understanding of mobile video streaming technologies Preferred Skills • API testing experience • Experience using Charles Proxy or similar network debugging tools Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
