Job Title: Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to drive cloud migration, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud migration, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and modern DevOps practices, along with the ability to lead technical implementations and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute Azure cloud migration projects, ensuring scalability, security, and performance best practices.
• Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters end to end.
• Implement and manage containerized application deployments using Helm charts, YAML manifests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and manage Azure CNI networking, cluster security, and access controls.
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or ARM templates.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure workloads for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Enforce DevOps and cloud security best practices across environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and deployment consistency.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to enable smooth software delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior DevOps engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 7–12 years of overall experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in cloud migration initiatives.
• Strong, proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) including:
• AKS cluster design and deployment
• Azure CNI networking
• Application deployments using Helm, YAML, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Good understanding of Agile / DevOps methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
