A prestigious company is looking for a Lead Developer– Java/Kafka Automation Tester. This role will focus on automation testing/development working with Java, Kafka, Microservices, Cucumber, Selenium, Spring boot, etc.
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and execute automation test plansWrite code against software platforms and estimate testing effortsAnalyze and communicate test results and track defectsParticipate in performance and scalability testing effortsDevelop, enhance, and extend automation frameworksImplement automation for new features during sprint cyclesAssist in planning and controlling test environments and test dataDefine test strategies and conduct requirements analysis for testabilityParticipate in reviewing test procedures and recommend improvementsQualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience7+ years of development experienceJava programming experienceProficiency in testing Apache Kafka - producing/consuming events, validating messages, schemas and stream processing logicExperience with Kubernetes – understanding of K8s deployments, and validating services within containersExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines like JenkinExperience with Java programming and object-oriented conceptExperience with automated testing frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, TestNGExperience developing test plans and working with test frameworksExperience testing financial services applications
