Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Science Expert to spearhead a variety of projects with minimal supervision while fostering collaboration within a dynamic team. This position requires robust analytical abilities and a passion for handling large datasets, with a strong emphasis on accuracy in analyses and model interpretations. Core Responsibilities: • Lead and prioritize data science projects, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. • Collaborate to define and effectively communicate governance principles. • Develop and validate hypotheses concerning intricate business processes utilizing diverse quantitative methods. • Apply statistical analysis and visualization techniques on various datasets, including hierarchical clustering, t-SNE, and PCA. • Employ advanced machine learning methodologies for classification and prediction tasks, integrating domain knowledge about financial risks and customer insights. Execute testing procedures such as cross-validation and A/B testing, ensuring considerations for bias and fairness. • Understand and document new data sources and process pipelines, gaining access to databases and systems such as SQL or graph databases. • Conduct training sessions for both business and IT personnel in fundamental data science principles and techniques. • Engage and network with internal and external stakeholders. • Promote collaboration among different data science teams within the organization. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. • A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist in a reputable organization. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $90,800 - $184,100.
