Our client is an AI-driven technology company specializing in unmanned AI live streaming and virtual host solutions. Due to rapid business expansion and ongoing AI transformation projects, they are recruiting an AI Technical Lead to be part of their AI Technology Team. This role reports directly to the AI Technical Director. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.
Responsibilities of Lead AI Engineer
• Lead hands-on development of unmanned AI live streaming systems powered by virtual AI hosts.
• Design and implement core AI modules across AI motion, multimodal intelligence, LLM/VLM, and conversational AI that spans text-to-video, image-to-video, video understanding, and multimodal generation.
• Lead AI language initiatives across LLM applications, fine-tuning, RAG, AI agents, and multilingual systems, scaling solutions from proof-of-concept (POC) and MVP stages to robust, production-grade systems.
• Design, fine-tune, and deploy LLM, VLM, and multimodal models for production, optimizing latency, accuracy, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and optimize AI motion and virtual host behaviour, including movement, expression, speech, and scene-aware adaptation for live and recorded content.
• Architect and maintain fully autonomous live-streaming workflows, covering pre-recorded video ingestion, real-time orchestration, and scene-aware automation.
• Build LLM/NLP-powered AI customer service systems to handle real-time audience inquiries, engagement, and order-related interactions at scale.
• Develop AI-driven analytics and insights for audience engagement and purchasing behaviour to support business and product decision-making.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring AI engineers, driving architecture and execution, and collaborating closely with the AI Technical Director to align strategy and delivery.
Requirements:
• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Strong academic background with published research in reputable AI journals or conferences.
• Hands-on experience in AI motion & videos, multimodal AI, or LLM, NLP & Agent systems.
• Proven experience translating AI research into production-grade, commercial systems.
• Prior experience in top-tier AI firms, startups, or research labs with leading technical teams.
