About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate MRI/CT Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role, you’ll support our radiology department with a mix of clinical expertise, patient care, and technical acumen. You’ll work collaboratively to ensure seamless operations and deliver high-quality imaging services to our patients. Responsibilities • Operate MRI and CT scanners, including routine and experimental setups, and optimize imaging parameters. • Screen patients for contraindications; explain procedures clearly and ensure safety protocols are followed. • Start IVs and administer contrast media per protocol. • Perform weekly QA tests and basic troubleshooting of scanner equipment. • Coordinate daily scheduling and patient flow for optimal efficiency. • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of clinical supplies. • Assist with departmental maintenance, including cleaning of MRI suite surfaces and fixtures. • Provide education and mentorship to student technologists. • Accurately document work processes and imaging records. • Support team workflow by stepping into various roles as needed. • Deliver compassionate, clear communication to patients in person and by phone. • Respond promptly to patient emergencies and safety incidents. • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed. Qualifications • Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program. • Minimum 3 years of experience in MRI with a focus on orthopedics. • Experience in CT imaging required. • Preferred: 1 year of experience operating Siemens MRI and GE CT scanners. • ARRT certification and relevant state licensure required.
