Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patrols on foot or vehicle, observing and maintaining security at client facilities and public areas to identify potential damages, misuse, or theft.
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas at client facilities and rights-of-way.
• Engage with the public, providing useful information about system usage and other relevant details.
• Prepare and submit detailed security reports and assist investigators as needed.
• Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities, including fare inspection sweeps, passenger counts, and reporting findings.
• Respond effectively to all calls for assistance.
• Maintain sensitivity to the client's culture and uphold a positive brand image.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to all clients, employees, invitees, and guests.
Qualifications:
• Must possess an Exposed Firearms Permit (for Armed Positions).
• Current Guard Card is required.
• A valid California Driver's License or State ID is necessary.
• Ability to perform emergency duties requiring physical exertion, such as standing or walking for entire shifts, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and running.
• Preferably certified in CPR/AED/First Aid/Baton/OC Pepper Spray.
• Must successfully pass a 10 panel DOT drug screen.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Must be reliable and maintain a professional demeanor.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
• 1 year or more of security experience is preferred.
