My client is looking for a Kubernetes / Containers Solution Architect
Outside IR35
Rate: Negiotiable
The Role:
• Build and deliver Kubernetes clusters (RKE2/Rancher/GitOps).
• Implement Cluster API (CAPI) and Metal3 to automate bare-metal environments.
• Contribute to cluster lifecycle automation: node management, upgrades, patching (including air-gapped environments).
• Support future evolution into virtualised clusters via the OpenStack CAPI provider.
• Integrate with OSS APIs and observability platforms.
• Ensure clusters meet TSA and CIS hardening requirements.
The Person
• Strong Kubernetes experience (RKE2 preferred), Rancher, GitOps.
• Proven experience with CAPI and Metal3.
• Security hardening: TSA, CIS benchmark.
• Experience integrating with OSS and observability tooling.
