Candidates must track and provide status reporting, oversee the planning, execution, and closing of complex, DevOps migrations related programs of work, including regulatory initiatives. Candidates Must have Knowledge and understanding of DevOps methodology and tools (e.g. Artifactory, Jenkins) ****CANDIDATES WITH CAPITAL MARKETS/BANKING EXPERIENCE ARE HIGHLY PREFERRED AND WILL GET FIRST PRIORITY BUT I WILL ALSO LOOK AT PROJECT MANAGERS/SUPERSTARS OUT OF LARGE TECHNOLOGY ENTERPRISES.
Job Description: Hiring a Senior Project Manager to join Quantitative & Technology Services’ (QTS) DevOps team. This is the centralized DevOps team supporting across all of Capital Market’s application teams. There is a multi-year plan to migrate app teams to strategic DevOps tooling, modernizing our estate.
This position is for a Senior Project Manager where your responsibilities will be to track and provide status reporting, oversee the planning, execution, and closing of complex, DevOps migrations related programs of work, including regulatory initiatives. Be accountable for ensuring that all migrations are completed within the given timeframe, budget, and scope while meeting high quality standards.
What will you do?
Mobilization
• Agree resource and time commitment with senior stakeholders
• Defining specific project goals, scope, budget requirements (inc. headcount and other spend)
• Conduct project planning workshops for each to define and refine delivery scope
Project Planning
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the delivery team to break down the items of work and develop an executable Project Plan - with milestones described on an outcome basis in plain language
• Developing a Resource Plan – i.e., the required skills and team composition
• Documenting and maintaining Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies in a formal RAID log
• Identifying the Critical Path, i.e., what is the sequence of sequential activities that has the greatest bearing on timelines and hence must remain on-track
Project Delivery
• Work closely with application teams and solution engineers to coordinate and drive migrations and ensure deliverables are delivered on-time
• Identify potential blockers/ risks, capture in RAID, and eliminate (and/ or escalating as needed)
• Collaborate with Dev team and Enterprise DevOps team to ensure automation and features are in place to drive efficient migration, address any gaps and concerns from app teams in a timely manner
• Defining appropriate Performance Metrics; monitor to provide visibility on delivery against agreed outcomes
Governance & Communications
• Producing Project Status Reports and communicating to stakeholders in a formal governance forum, on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly)
• Status reporting to include:
• Qualitative and quantitative updates in progress on a weekly and monthly basis, and objectives for next month
• Delivery tracking against milestones with RAG status
• Performance Metrics
• Key Risks and Issues
• Regularly communicating internally to the team on progress and ensuring everyone aligns and commit to the migration plan

Minimum Requirements
• Ability to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, and manage deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, detail-oriented
• Effective stakeholder & relationship management, and strong collaboration
• 10+ years of working on medium-to-high complexity initiatives with Project / Program delivery
• Project Management Certification (PMP® or equivalent)
• Experience working with multi-site and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC
• Knowledge and understanding of DevOps methodology and tools (e.g. Artifactory, Jenkins)

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $61,380.03-$150,000.00 per year
