Job Summary
The Specialist will support Transmission Operationsincluding both Underground Transmission (UG) and Transmission Line Maintenance (TLM)by overseeing procurement and vendor payment activities for OandM and capital materials and services. This role also provides key administrative support to the General Manager, the EHandS Manager, and other direct reports within the SandTO organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Support procurement and vendor payment processes for OandM and capital materials and services.
• Provide administrative support to Transmission Operations leadership, including General Manager and EHandS Manager.
• Administer aspects of the vegetation management program and line maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Assist with the review and update of operating procedures.
• Process equipment, service, and supply requisitions using Oracle EBS and other procurement systems.
• Maintain organized files with complex classifications and ensure timely updates.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn company procedures and software systems.
• Field and track executive inquiries and customer or municipal complaints; prepare and support timely, professional responses.
• Work closely with Project Managers on contractor service-related issues and planning processes.
• Assist in the preparation of bids, purchase of new services and materials, and review of contract terms and purchase orders.
• Build collaborative relationships with Transmission Operations and other departments to address business needs.
• Align operations with corporate procurement and accounting goals.
• Support effective cost management and purchasing processes.
• Handle confidential information and support senior leadership in decision-making.
• Provide administrative support for TLM operations, including helicopter patrol scheduling and GOIs.
• Support foresters, supervisors, planners, and managers with contract administration.
• Prepare and monitor monthly department accruals and budgets; track progress against goals and deliverables.
• Perform additional assignments as required, including use of Oracle and Maximo systems.
