Our leading automotive client is seeking a Tech Lead - Java for a long-term hybrid role (80% onsite, 20% remote) in Torrance, CA supporting digital application architecture and development.
This is a 40-hour/week position expected to last approximately 2 years.
Top Must Have Skills
5-10 years of experience in enterprise application and backend development
3+ years in senior technical roles (Tech Lead, Team Lead, etc.)
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, JPA, Hibernate
Experience with AWS and microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, Red Hat AMQ)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Expertise in RDBMS, NoSQL, DynamoDB
Agile development and DevOps practices
Additional Qualifications
Experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
Front-end development knowledge (JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, React)
Responsibilities
Lead the development of scalable digital experiences to enhance customer engagement
Oversee architecture, development, and production support for digital applications
Collaborate across teams to deliver enterprise integration solutions
Drive adoption of modern development techniques and DevOps practices
