Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 7+ years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 3–5 years in rotating equipment
Prior experience on LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects
Strong understanding of API standards (e.g., API 610, 617, 618) and ISO/ASME standards
Familiarity with QMS standards (ISO 9001) and QA/QC documentation practices
Hands-on experience in working with OEMs for rotating equipment (e.g., GE, Siemens, Flowserve, etc.)
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all QA/QC activities related to rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.) for the LNG project scope.
Ensure installation, alignment, pre-commissioning, and testing of rotating machinery complies with project specifications, international codes, and vendor documentation.
Conduct inspections and quality checks during receiving, installation, and commissioning stages.
Prepare and review Quality Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA procedures.
Liaise with vendors, OEMs, client representatives, and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure all quality records, test reports, NCRs, and punch lists are documented and traceable.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and issue resolution related to rotating machinery failures or deviations.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Assist in audits, walk-downs, and mechanical completion documentation (e.g., System Handover Packages).
Coordinate with third-party inspectors and ensure alignment with project schedules.
