Position OverviewCalian ITCS is currently seeking a Junior/Intermediate QA Automation Tester for a 7 months full time contract opportunity to perform the following duties:
ResponsibilitiesTest Development:
Write and debug code for test automation – frontend as well as backend.Develop comprehensive test plans and hold reviews with relevant teams.Ensure alignment with project standards and procedures.Maintain high-quality documentation and verify traceability in work products.Test Execution and Reporting:
Execute test plans, both manual and automated, meeting project commitments.Report bugs with recommendations on priority/severity.Quantify and track test coverage to ensure thorough testing.Continuous Improvement Support:
Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as test automation framework enhancement and CI/CD.Identify opportunities to optimize QA operations for efficiency and scalability.Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding testing progress and issues.Provide regular updates on test results and bug status.Facilitate discussions to resolve any testing-related concerns or conflicts.Qualifications2-5 years experience in Front End and Back End test automation execution and test development.Experience in Back End/API testing is desirable.Experience using Selenium is good but any experience with Playwright is better.Compensation
$30-40/hour“Final compensation will be based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and contract conditions.”
