We’re seeking a Junior AI Scientist with a strong interest in genomics and machine learning to work on sequence-based models for regulatory genomics and the non-coding genome. This role is ideal for early-career researchers eager to apply modern ML techniques to biological data.
Required Education
• Master’s degree, currently pursuing a PhD, or recent PhD graduate in:
• Computational Biology, Computer Science, Biology, or related computational fields
Required Skills
• Familiarity with sequence modeling and sequence foundation models (e.g., Decima, Borzoi, Enformer, DNA/RNA language models, or similar)
• Ability to read and implement ideas from recent ML literature, including model calibration and evaluation
• Strong research interest in genomics, regulatory genomics, variant interpretation, or the non-coding genome
• Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Basic understanding of cell biology and gene expression
