ARENGY seeks an experienced Aerospace Safety Development Engineer to join our Safety & Systems Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, drafting, and review of Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) across various system levels.
• Develop and maintain Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA) to support system architecture definition and hazard mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, design engineers, and certification teams to integrate safety requirements into system design and architecture.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of cutting-edge aerospace systems and supporting compliance with certification authorities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in aerospace safety engineering, with direct experience in drafting FHA and PSSA for complex aerospace systems.
Preferred qualifications include experience supporting safety certification activities for commercial or military aircraft, eVTOL, UAV, or space systems, as well as knowledge of software and avionics safety processes and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
