We are seeking a Java Springboot Developer. This role requires hands-on expertise in Java (including Spring Boot) and Microsoft Azure, with additional experience in Dremio, Tableau, Python/PySpark, and trade surveillance platforms such as SMARTS being highly desirable. You will play a key role in building and optimizing data solutions that support trade surveillance and analytics for our financial services clients. We are hiring on behalf of Deloitte.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions for trade surveillance and capital markets analytics.
• Leverage Dremio, Python/PySpark, and Tableau for data integration, transformation, and visualization.
• Support and enhance trade surveillance processes, including working with platforms like SMARTS.
• Ensure data quality, security, and integrity across all engineering activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and reporting.
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with Java Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Dremio for data lake management and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with trade surveillance platforms, preferably SMARTS.
• Experience or strong understanding of capital markets operations and regulatory environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in financial services, capital markets, or regulatory compliance.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, Java, or data engineering.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $90.00-$110.00 per hour
