Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.
• *Job Description**:
Duties
Review worldwide laws and directives with regards to regulatory product compliance for video and security products primarily safety, electromagnetic compatibility EMC and environmental standards ROHS, Reach
Work proactively with the electrical and mechanical engineering teams during the full life cycle design process to ensure compliance of the product design
Produce and maintain required compliance certificates, test reports and data to show conformance to regulatory requirements
Review and verify product regulatory compliance documents from 3rd party partners and suppliers
Maintain compliance documentation in our inhouse database
• *Requirements**:
Ability to work with large volume of technical documents
Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to details
Strong organizational, multitasking and project management skills
Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to electronics design, can read schematics
Nice to have
Exposure to safety and emc standards
Exposure to inhouse tools such as JIRAConfluencePLM
Exposure to life cycle designdevelopment process
Exposure to regulatory requirements for global market access
