The System Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive design and technical management of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and related projects. This role involves developing system standards, providing technical support to various internal teams and customers, and contributing to product planning and documentation. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. • Develop and maintain system standards and specifications. • Generate and evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) for technical and economic advantages. • Provide technical support for Marketing and Sales activities, including quotation assistance. • Conduct customer training courses both in the field and at the company's facility. • Serve as a technical liaison for customer problems and perform field services as required to support Customer Service. • Perform engineering studies related to system problems or new requirements. • Offer technical support to System Test technicians on project-related issues. • Participate in product planning and definition processes. • Create comprehensive system documentation. • Develop Parts Lists/Bill of Materials. • Design Equipment Layout and Interconnection Drawings. • Generate Points Lists / Point Assignment Charts. • Create SCADA Displays and Databases. • Program Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) and Gateways. • Adhere to all company ISO 9001 procedures and standards. • Travel as necessary to fulfill job duties. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor of Science/Engineering (BS/BE) or equivalent practical experience. • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a variety of computer hardware/software products. • Skills: Essential knowledge of networking and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
