The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, providing architectural guidance and leadership across the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Lead the architecture, design, and development of embedded systems for complex applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and software engineers to define system requirements and ensure technical feasibility. • Develop and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for embedded software development. • Evaluate new technologies, components, and platforms to optimize system performance and reliability. • Oversee integration and testing of embedded systems to ensure functionality, stability, and compliance with industry standards. • Mentor and guide development teams, providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing. • Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations for complex system issues. • Support project planning, estimation, and risk management for embedded system initiatives. Required Skills And Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 12+ years of experience in embedded systems design, architecture, and development. • Strong expertise in embedded C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers, and hardware-software integration. • Hands-on experience with system-on-chip (SoC) architectures, device drivers, and low-level firmware development. • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet). • Familiarity with hardware design concepts, PCB design constraints, and signal integrity issues. • Experience in performance optimization, debugging, and profiling embedded systems. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration capabilities. • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements for embedded systems is a plus.
