The IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Specialist is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of the organization’s IT infrastructure, collaboration platforms, office systems, and cloud environments. The role ensures system availability, secure access, and effective IT support in line with organizational standards and policies. Responsibilities • Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 services, including SharePoint, Exchange, and related collaboration tools. • Manage users, mailboxes, permissions, and security settings through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. • Support Email-as-a-Service platforms and handle related operational issues, configurations, and coordination. • Maintain office IT infrastructure, including local servers, networks, firewalls, and physical IT systems. • Provide IT support for employee laptops, desktops, and peripherals, including remote support when required. • Support cloud-based servers and environments, including basic administration, access management, and monitoring. • Maintain working knowledge of cloud computing, containerization, and CI/CD concepts to support technology operations. • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for operational support. • Support and comply with established cybersecurity controls and escalate security-related incidents or risks as required. Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, including administration via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. • Proven expertise in Microsoft Exchange and Email-as-a-Service environments. • Solid experience with SharePoint Online, including site management, permissions, and document libraries. • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and controls, including coordination, validation, and support for security reviews or audits. • Understanding of access management, endpoint security, data protection, and incident handling processes. • Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and fundamental IT security practices. • Experience supporting Windows-based servers and end-user computing environments. • Exposure to cloud platforms, virtualized environments, and container technologies. • Understanding of CI/CD processes and modern IT operations concepts. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Relevant professional certifications in Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, cloud platforms, or cybersecurity are preferred.
