IT-Data Analyst I Full time; Exempt Location; Remote Department: IT-Servicing Support Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. (“Dovenmuehle”) is the leading mortgage subservicing firm in the United States with several hundred financial institution clients nationwide. General Description: The data analyst will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating, or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data. The data analyst’s responsibilities may include presenting data as well as designing and developing relational databases for collecting data. Essential Functions and Duties: • Analyze large data sets using specialized queries and key performance indicators • Effectively communicate analyses to a broad audience • Ensure data quality in analyses and validate results • Design, implement, and train on the use of analytical dashboards • Plan, schedule, and monitor automation as it relates to reporting and dashboarding • Maintain detailed documentation • Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training. • Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent experience. • Experience working with large amounts of data: facts, figures. • Experience working with analysis tools (PowerBI, Jasper Reports, Tableau, Talend) • Strong SQL experience in any dialect • Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to always interact in a positive and professional manner with all levels of both internal and external audiences. • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of system databases, data elements, and application software solutions to maximize data gathering and data analysis. The employee is frequently required to stand or walk (or otherwise move through the organization); sit; use hands to type, write, handle, or feel and reach. May occasionally climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; or lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Employees may be required to type and utilize a computer for long periods of time. The employee may be required to frequently operate a standard variety of office equipment including computers, calculators, copy machine, computer printer and phones. The noise level, if working on-site, is usually moderate and typical of an office environment.
